The Learning Hub

The Learning Hub is the continued education branch of Helper’s Resource Hub, offering free, self-paced eCourses paired with practical digital resources for real-world support. Our trainings are created for caregivers, educators, helpers, and professionals who want accessible, evidence-informed tools they can use immediately in daily life and high-stress environments.

Each course can be completed on a phone, tablet, computer, or through printed materials, making learning flexible and accessible wherever you are. We currently offer two free eCourses, with additional trainings and companion resources coming soon. Our goal is simple: make trauma-informed, emotionally sustainable education accessible to the people who spend their lives helping others.

Free Caregiver eCourses

Helping others shouldn’t cost you your well-being. This free, self-paced training gives educators, counselors, social workers, and helping professionals practical tools to prevent burnout, manage stress, and build resilience. Learn simple nervous system-informed strategies and self-care practices you can use immediately—no mental health background needed.

Whether you care for others at work or at home, this training will help you support yourself while continuing to support those around you. Because sustainable helping starts with caring for yourself, too.

Our free 4-part trauma-informed care course helps both professional and personal caregivers and those in client facing roles better understand stress, behavior, and emotional regulation. Through practical, evidence-informed tools, participants learn how to build safety, improve communication, and respond to burnout and dysregulation with compassion instead of overwhelm.

The course offers real-world strategies for co-regulation, boundary setting, and nervous system support that can be used immediately at home, school, or work. Designed to be accessible and actionable, our self-paced training helps future and current caregivers protect their own well-being while becoming a steadier support for others.

How the Model Works

Each topic begins in the Resource Hub as a clear, simplified tool for independent learning.

Its paired Learning Hub course then:

  • Expands the content at an 8th-grade reading level

  • Provides fully narrated instruction

  • Integrates research-aligned discussion

  • Includes real-world examples and case applications

  • Offers structured modules for slower processing and deeper reflection

  • Provides an optional exit exam and Certification of Completion

The resource provides clarity.
The course provides depth.

Both are intentional.

Why Two Reading Levels?

Helpers do not always operate in the same cognitive state.

Sometimes you need:

  • Straightforward language

  • Quick reassurance

  • Immediate tools

Other times you want:

  • Structured pacing

  • Expanded explanation

  • Professional integration

  • Academic alignment

Our two-tier reading model supports both needs — without gatekeeping information.

Who the Learning Hub Is For

  • Educators and students

  • Clinicians

  • School professionals

  • Caregivers

  • Organizational teams

  • Helpers seeking structured growth

The Learning Hub is an expanding course library. As new resources are created, paired courses will be added — creating a connected pathway between open-access tools and guided professional education.
