Our Impact
Supporting Helpers in Times of Crisis
If you visited our homepage, you may have seen the story behind our logo—the tale of the Hummingbird and the Jaguar.
As a fire spreads through the forest, the mighty jaguar stands frozen, overwhelmed by the flames. Nearby, a tiny hummingbird carries drops of water, doing what it can. “What are you doing?” the jaguar asks. The hummingbird replies, “I’m doing my part.”
In today’s world, it’s easy to feel like the jaguar—staring at the vast amount of need and suffering, unsure of where to begin. But at Helper’s Resource Hub, we believe in focusing on small, meaningful actions that create real impact. Rather than staying frozen in overwhelm, we channel that energy into proactive steps—donating, supporting, and sharing resources that help caregivers, first responders, and those who give so much of themselves.
The urgency of our mission is underscored by alarming statistics:
-
Police officers and firefighters are more likely to die by suicide than in the line of duty.
-
Registered nurses and healthcare support workers face higher suicide rates compared to the general population.
-
Family caregivers often experience diminished immune responses, leading to increased susceptibility to infections and health complications.
These sobering facts highlight the critical need for mental health support among our first responders and caregivers.
That’s why we don’t just create accessible, affordable, and therapist-designed burnout recovery materials—we go further. We have a personal company campaign of giving back through quarterly donations to support groups experiencing acute trauma, crisis, or distress.
We know that helpers are often the last to receive care, so we’ve worked to remove barriers by making our resources available in an approachable format with an 8th-grade reading level, covering material equivalent to the first eight weeks of therapy. But accessibility alone isn’t enough—we also believe that those who need these resources most should receive them, no matter their budget or financial situation.
Drop by Drop, We Heal It Forward
Just like the hummingbird—small but steadfast—we show up when trauma, tragedy, or disaster strikes. Every quarter, we donate mental health tools to schools, hospitals, first responder teams, and community organizations who dedicate their lives to helping others.
This is the heart of our Drop by Drop Initiative.
Each quarter, we assess where our resources can make the greatest impact. For every wellness item purchased through our site—or matched in value through generous donors—we heal it forward by sending the same (or more) to heroes in need. Whether they are teachers, foster parents, first responders, medical professionals, or coaches, we want them to know: you are seen, you are valued, and we are here for you.
Every time you seek to care for yourself, you’re also helping someone else heal. Your support allows us to extend compassion to the helpers who often forget they need it, too.
Together, we're building a more resilient, supported community—drop by drop.

Where We Give
-
Schools – When a crisis affects a school, educators don’t just manage lesson plans—they manage the emotional well-being of their students and themselves. We donate resources to help teachers and staff navigate trauma, stress, and burnout so they can continue showing up for their students.
-
Hospitals & NICUs – In high-stress environments like emergency rooms and neonatal intensive care units, healthcare workers are constantly giving to others, often at the cost of their own well-being. We provide burnout recovery tools to nurses, doctors, and hospital staff so they can sustain the energy and compassion their roles demand.
-
First Responders – Firefighters, EMTs, and police officers witness crisis after crisis, carrying the emotional weight of their communities. The job doesn’t stop, but burnout is real. Our donated resources help first responders develop resilience, manage stress, and continue serving without sacrificing their own well-being.
-
Community Groups & Nonprofits – The people who work in grassroots organizations, shelters, and crisis response teams are often the first to help, yet the last to receive support. We provide mental health resources to volunteers and nonprofit teams so they have the tools to care for themselves while they care for others.
Each quarter, our Drop by Drop initiative assesses where our resources can make the greatest impact, prioritizing schools, hospitals, first responder teams, and community organizations facing high-stress, trauma, or crises.
If you know a group in need, nominate them for our next donation cycle below.
How Will You Carry Your Drop of Water?
The hummingbird didn’t put out the fire alone. But by carrying drop after drop, it made an impact. You can, too.
How do you want to help?
Buy with Purpose: Every time you purchase a resource from our shop, you’re doing more than investing in your own wellness—you’re helping someone else access care, too. For each product sold, we donate a burnout recovery resource each quarter to someone in need through our giving program. Your drop creates another.
Donate: Our company already donates burnout recovery resources every quarter, but your donation allows us to give even more beyond our set commitments. Every contribution directly funds additional support for helpers in crisis.
Give a Gift: Do you know a first responder, teacher, nurse, or caregiver who carries a heavy load? Show them appreciation by sending a burnout recovery resource as a gift. Just enter their email at checkout, and we’ll send the digital download straight to them.
This is perfect for:
-
Teacher Appreciation Week
-
Nurse & Healthcare Worker Appreciation
-
First Responder Recognition
-
Graduation gifts
-
A thank-you to someone who has given so much.
